# SnapDub

Canonical: https://www.softwareadvice.com.au/software/697288/SnapDub

> SnapDub is a clipping tool for teams and creators who publish long video and need short vertical versions of it every week.

The input is a recording: a podcast episode, a livestream, a customer interview, a webinar or a conference talk. Upload the file, or paste a YouTube, Twitch or Zoom link and SnapDub fetches it. What comes back is a set of short clips, each reframed to 9:16 around whoever is speaking, with captions transcribed, timed and burned into the picture.

The selection is the part that matters. Rather than cutting a file into equal lengths, SnapDub reads the transcript together with the audio and the picture and keeps the moments that hold up on their own, which is what decides whether a clip is worth posting at all.

Consistency is handled by templates. Caption style, fonts, colours and your logo are set once and applied to every later batch, so output from different weeks looks like it came from the same place.

Publishing is included. Clips download as ordinary video files, or go straight to connected TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Telegram accounts on a schedule. A channel can also be connected so each new long upload is clipped without anybody opening the app.

Plans are priced per workspace rather than per seat, with seats included at every tier, and the free plan gives 500 credits every month with no card and no trial countdown.
