> **Pros**: Leapsome is a great platform for all HR matters, from soft-skills measuring to OKRs and KPIs tracking. The great amount of modules allows us to track employee performance, engagement, rewards and recognition, compensation reviews. It also provides insightful suggestions and meaningful benchmark to allow my company compare itself with the rest of the industry on the different processes we run. It's very easy to use and user-friendly when it comes to navigation experience.&#10;The customer support team is always ready to answer my questions and doubts and I think that it's the best price in the market for the type of services offered.

> **Cons**: I would really love the Org chart to be more interactive, and allow me to display certain fields values under each employee (e.g. performance review results, age, locations, 9-box grid square, etc) and the Compensation Review feature could also work on some polishing since it's a huge long form instead of displaying the whole team for evaluation at the same time as a interactive spradhseet

> **Pros**: As I type, I am looking at a stack of paper copies of HR documents that I need to file however, I was able to schedule 50 reviews in 5 minutes anyway. I have to admit, I was relieved that the "scoring" feature did not fail when I generated a performance report for the boss today. Now everything (self-reflection) that is related to performance reporting is in one place, therefore I do not have to open up a hundred email attachments every time I want to view someones history.

> **Cons**: The logo on the home page appears to be way to small and appears to be ridiculously small. Additionally, I dislike how many times you have to click before viewing a brief history of someone's previous goals. My manager asked me a question in the comment area and there was no option to respond to him, thus I was forced to generate a completely new comment to simply answer his single question which was frustrating.

> Leapsome has helped me not to be consumed by spreadsheets on my desktop/computer and that the reminders are sent automatically so I do not have to run around the hallways trying to track people down to get signatures.

> **Pros**: 1. It is good as an employee database, you can store a lot of data about your employees&#10;&#10;2. Leapsome works well together, all of the different modules operate together. for example, instant feedback can be referred to in a 121 manager review. Competencies reviewed on a manager review can also be reviewed in instant feedback.&#10;&#10;3. Once you have the goals set up, they work quite well numerically - parent goals can have a number of child goals below them, and the average percentage completion of the child goals makes up the parent goals. This works well if your goals are strictly numerical&#10;&#10;4. The review system works well, once it is set up. You can automate it so that review cycles go out with managers reviewing their subordinates on their competencies, and employees reviewing each other etc.. This all works quite well together, and in a review you can see past instant feedback (which is the way to give feedback outside of a review cycle)&#10;&#10;5. The customer service is very nice and helpful, and have helped me work through complex problems on numerous occasions&#10;&#10;In fact, the instant feedback feature is probably the most useful feature for us, despite it being the simplest.

> **Cons**: 1. The 'learning' module leaves a lot to be desired. The due dates work weirdly, which is hard to explain if you have never used it but it's basically a non-feature - the due dates do not really work.&#10; The UI/UX of completing a learning 'path' (as they call it) is quite poor. It is very basic and the only real customisability you have is a rich text editor. That's it. There is no option to add a preview image for an article for example. &#10;The quizzes are very basic in the options you have - they must be multiple choice, and the answers must be text. All you can change is the amount of correct and incorrect answers.&#10;The 'tasks' are just a check-box. That's it. &#10;&#10;2. Goals&#10;I wanted to set 8 different numerical goals for each employee at my company, which update weekly with their progress. We have the numerical data. But, the only way on Leapsome to update a goal is to do so manually - there is no API. So, I am forced to manually update all the goals every week (in the hundreds). This is a waste of my time but necessary

> Leapsome has a very high variety of features, and we needed a software that has a few things&#10;1. Employee feedback and reviews&#10;2. Employee and business goals&#10;3. Employee learning development&#10;&#10;It does a large variety of things, and does them mostly well, but it is clear that a lot of the software is not very well thought out which causes me problems, as the admin. I am often left struggling to explain why something is one way, or why I can't do something I think seems obvious. Once you decide how to set it up and use it as you wish, it works quite well if you have an active admin. &#10;&#10;The company advertises the software as open-ended and to be used as you wish, but this creates a problem as when you try to do things your way you often find you run into problems that the designers hadn't thought of. &#10;Quite often I would try to do something one way, only to realise it wouldn't work for some odd reason and have to start back at square one. &#10;&#10;The customer support is very helpful when you do have a problem (and you probably will)

> **Pros**: Performance reviews ran smoothly once configured. Learning paths feature was excellent and helped us build structured employee development programs and goal setting. Good for managing 1-on-1s and training in one place.

> **Cons**: Setting up review questions and managing different review versions was unnecessarily complex. Pricing structure doesn't work well for midsize teams - paying per module vs. all-access becomes expensive quickly at 40+ employees. Cost ultimately became too high for the value we extracted.

> Leapsome delivered on the core performance management features and the learning/training modules were genuinely useful. Setup required significant upfront effort to get review templates right, and iterating on questions across versions was clunky. The pricing model works against growing companies - what seems reasonable at 10 employees becomes a budget strain at 40+. Switched away purely on cost considerations, not functionality. Good product, just priced outside of what it delivers.
